
A Global Launching Show was staged to introduce Samsung's first Android Smartphone Galaxy S in Las Vegas. At the event, the first to unveil Samsung's new product in the USA, Samsung gave a unique lifestyle presentation using District's UX product, HYPER FACADE, creating a major sensation. Soon the whole world will want to use HYPER FACADE!
With the Galaxy S Presentation, d'strict has proven its innovative powers once again, following its introduction of Samsung's Jet via a presentation that made use of a Gesture Sensing Holographic movie and Corby Presentation, in which performance arts and fashion were grafted onto the holographic display. This presentation solution uses HYPER FACADE, an architectural display method, to implement a creative technical paradigm that has advanced beyond the capabilities of any existing solutions. In other words, the presenter will project the daily works of the user of Galaxy S on the background of MEDIA FACADE. Waking up in the morning, driving a car to work, performing tasks for the company, seeing friends after work, and returning home - all of these moments of a typical daily routine were represented by the interaction between MEDIA FACADE and the presenter. Also, the presentation excitingly conveyed scenes of the convenient features of Galaxy S being used at each moment. The presenter wakes up to the alarm of Galaxy S in the morning, with a cozy house displayed in the background, and then checks the news of the day and his schedule using the Daily Briefing function. On his way to work in a car, he uses Google Navigation, and transmits the data in the computer upon receiving a sudden request to perform a task. At the workplace, which features an office setting, and on the way back home with the city's nighttime landscape in the background, a variety of Galaxy S' features are implemented into experiences in real life. In this way, the unique lifestyle presentation has more than clearly delivered 18 product features that are closely tied to users' needs, and melting into a daily routine, by using d'strict's MEDIA FACADE solution.





At the Galaxy S Launch Show, the HYPER-CUBE solution of HYPER FACADE was used for the first time. This rectangular parallelepiped device is capable of projecting various types of objects by putting them in front of MEDIA FACADE implemented through HYPER FACADE. The HYPER-CUBE used at the Launch Show transformed repeatedly to produce such scenes as a bed and a table inside the house, vehicles passing by in the street, or tables at an open-air cafeteria. Not only do the projected images change, but a number of rectangular parallelepiped objects move rapidly on the stage and are assembled to enhance the projection effect. Notably, the scene where a rapidly moving car transports the presenter received a standing ovation from the audience. HYPER-CUBE is the result of upgrading the effect of the indoor MEDIA FACADE solution, combined with scrupulous planning and technical perfection, enabling to handle the narrowest of surfaces.



The Galaxy Launch Show was especially outstanding in that the presentation successfully melted the 18 product features into a daily routine. It vividly illustrated just how powerful media contents are, by entering into the life of the user and representing the utility of a product in a kind of drama, instead of providing unilateral descriptions of the product. In a word, the HYPER FACADE solution, supported by strong source contents, created the best quality in terms of both substance and form. Of course, District's integrated production capacity, into which its creative solutions and technologies have been converged, also played a significant role. And this technical coordination may be what most impressed the local audience gathered in Las Vegas.
